It's trip week! I'll be packing and prepping today for our trip to Rapid City, SD this weekend to see Nikhil's dear friend and celebrate Independence Day! I am so blessed that Nikhil is in my life. I was anxious last night. I've applied for jobs and got a "no" from one of the places I applied at for an Administrative Assistant. My friend, Kevin, shared his experience yesterday over a yummy lunch at Kroll's. It will take him three years of online courses to complete his Masters in Social Work. He is currently working part time and enjoying his job at the Library.
I have freelance work right now; prepping sketches for Deb's book of poetry. She will most likely be printing her book at my old company.
Also, I’m looking into the Biophelia Poster Contest
So, I prayed this morning and asked the Lord for direction in my job search.
What am I doing right now that will increase my chances of getting a job?

I'm kind of shocked. I didn't think there'd be any available graphic design jobs in town right now.

- Resumés and cover letter have been polished/updated
- Checking on jobs via email, websites everyday
- Applied for a FREE class via BSC Continuing Ed: Twelve Steps to a Successful Job Search
- Letting friends and family know that I was laid off. Maybe they've heard of a job opening somewhere in Bismarck
- "God's Got This!"
