Resume Update: Part Two

Mood: Excited
Listening to: "Whatever it Takes" - Imagine Dragons

"God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

It pays to look on LinkedIn.com. An acquaintance in town posted that Community Options (ND) is hiring! I drove past this business yesterday and was very intrigued. I'm going to look into it and see what jobs are available through this company. The mission of this company sounds similar to what I've been yearning for in a job: A fulfilling career helping people. It's worth a look! I'm very excited!

Today I am going to Cardio Dance, then I'm meeting with my tennis star boyfriend to work on my resumé. I am very very lucky he is looking it over. Next comes the cover letter. I'm also going to transfer my Graphic Design Resumé over to MS Word, because InDesign is super super slow on my laptop. I have to work with what I have!

To Do List:
  • Look into Community Options (ND) jobs
  • Apply for four jobs (UIIA login)
  • Update Graphic Design Resumé for MS Word
  • Start and finish a cover letter geared toward Administrative Assistant

Or apply at Costco.com, Communo.com, or FirstSteps in Bismarck. My friend also sent me to a link for a job at KLJ as a Marketing Strategist. So, I'm swimming with ideas right. Now would be a good time to get some Freelance graphic design jobs in to stay fresh.

My goal, with Nikhil's blessing, is to have my graphic design and general resumés ready to go with a mockup cover letter TONIGHT! 😀

The last job I had was the most challenging job I’ve ever had. This gives me hope that I will be successful at my next job since I’ve already learned so much.
