Mood: Hyper and Introspective
Listening to: "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" - Tears for Fears
COVID-19 UPDATE: "Life after COVID-19 Pandemic: Hotel Buffets May Be Gone Forever"
FOODIE: "Japan takes quarantine cooking to the next level with amazing presentation"
I'm hyper even though it should be a lazy Sunday morning. Two cups of coffee: One regular, one decaf. Doing laundry and thinking of our adventurous trip coming up in South Dakota!
Last week at GYS track practice, April Lund said that whether we choose Faith or Fear, that's what we focus on. (Not the exact quote, obviously, but that's the gist of it.)
Making CHOICES can be so HARD, especially when a person is afraid they will make a mistake. In reflection. I told Nikhil a few days ago (at the track) that I have made so many mistakes. One of the wisest phrases I've heard is from my brother, Andy. He told me, "There was only one person who was perfect, Anne, and they hung him on a cross." So, I realize that sometimes I'm afraid to make a change or move forward because I don't know if I'm making the right choice.
Nikhil sent me a quote back in 2017: "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated." ~ Confucius

Nikhil went on to say, "Keep things simple. Life is meant to be simple. The answer is supposed to be crystal clear."
FAITH: So, to summarize, taking a leap of faith is exactly that. It's using the FAITH I have and jumping over what I'm FEARFUL of. It's like going on a hike and jumping over that little mountain stream so you don't soak your feet in it.
Lifehack.org has an article, "How to Make the Right Choice" by Dustin Wax.
Or, I can just look to the Bible: "If you need wisdom–if you want to know what God wants you to do–ask Him, and He will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking." James 1:5 NLT
