Mood: Chill
Listening to: John Digweed Radio on Pandora
Winter weather is here for awhile. The enjoyable aspect of it is the frosty wonderland created with the gentle snowfalls and fresh crisp winter walks. The downside of winter is, of course, the icy streets, sub-zero temps, and wind chills.
When there isn't much sun outside, it's good to bring some of our own sunshine to the indoors. I've been exploring the style and comfort of Hygge. I first heard of Hygge from Alex Beauchamp's website Hygge House. So far, I've been embracing coffee, hot cocoa, candles, and fluffy blankets. Bringing more plants into my home would be a way of bringing the outdoors to the inside. There's much to explore with Hygge, and embracing coziness certainly sounds like a good thing!
Top Five Hygge Faves!
1.) Abuelita
2.) Frosted Cranberry Candle (Bath and Body Works)
3.) Cozy blanket, fuzzy socks, and "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix
4.) Succulents
5.) India Clay Oven (a good meal!) with friends
