I am reading a book about a saint and have a great sense of peace which I don't think is a coincidence. Everyday is a new adventure, and I'm trying to find my footing and take the right path in life. Reading about this holy man is exciting but has also brought me comfort. It's hard to fathom all the miracles that have happened with Padre Pio. He really was a "lightning rod of God." I can see why people actually left their towns in Italy to move to be closer to him.
Padre Pio had many spiritual children. They were so lucky to know him personally. The best I can do is get to know him through his beautiful prayers and books. I'm truly blessed my dad lent me the book I'm reading.
