It's been a wonderful experience doing graphic design for my USDA NRCS coworkers; many of them biologists. When I was much younger I saw bees as scary; insects that would sting me if I got too close. Butterflies were pretty little creatures in the garden. If I found a dead one, I would pick it up and study the beautiful colors on its wings.
Pollinators such as butterflies and bees are crucial to our environment. We need them so flowers and plants will thrive. I'm not a biologist, but I don't have to be to love and respect what pollinators do for the environment. Bees, of course, produce honey; a power food that is so delicious and is famous for its healing qualities.

My mom often says, "You have to have a plan." So, here it is! Summer 2021 Plans! I'm looking forward to it. I'll continue to work for USDA NRCS this summer. My oldest niece and friend's daughter are graduating from high school! They grew up too quickly!
Trips for me this summer will be few, because I am limited on vacation until August:
- Trip to Fargo/Minny with Nikhil (TBD)
- Camping with friends (TBD)
- Fargo for my friend's daughter's graduation (No)
My dear boyfriend is working out some up's and down's with his diet. I told him I will be there for him throughout his journey. I'll miss cooking for him unless he feels it's okay to eat certain foods I prepare. (No, it's not because he dislikes my cooking! LOL!)
This June is Medieval Rush! It's in Bismarck again this year. Nikhil and I are signed up for it. My friend's daughter has her graduation open house on the same day in Fargo. We will also be celebrating my folks' 50th Anniversary this summer in September! A very HAPPY occasion!
