JOB HUNT: Technically, I wasn't actually offered a job yesterday. Stuwert, the owner, sounded interested in my design skills, because I have a LOT of graphic design experience. I've had three rejections from places I've applied to, and today I'm going to kindly thank Stuwert but let him know that his shop is not quite the right fit for me. I'm trying to learn from past experiences. I'm trying to figure out what I want in a job and want to make the right choice.

POSSIBLE JOBS:

Front Desk Team Member (Schindler and Stewart Dentistry) (Applied!)
Administrative Assistant (Heartview Foundation) (Applied!)

...

WANT: A job where I feel I'm "making a difference" and hopefully use my graphic design skills. I prefer an 8 am to 5 pm job

DON'T WANT: High pressure, fast-paced, uber-competitive

I need to apply for at least three more jobs this week.

My mind was all over the place last night. I was watching "Hoarders" on Netflix and actually feeling more positive about my situation right now. HA! I watched how psychologists worked with the hoarders who had mental illnesses such as OCD, ADHD, and "hoarding" as a mental illness itself. I was moved by the compassion of these psychologists in the midst of the reality television drama.

My heart is going out to Nikhil and hoping we can patch things up. I honestly don't know where we are going right now. It's still strange to think that we are on a "break" right now. I didn't see it coming.

FITNESS: Nikhil and I are talking about playing basketball again. It's been too long. Time has gone by too quickly. We have to make the most of our time. My sinus infection is on the mend thanks to Z-Pack, the Netty Pot, rest, and plenty of fluids. I plan to get back to Zumba, GYS track practice, and walks with my friend as soon as I can.
