Memorable Birthday

I had a wonderful birthday! Nikhil and I shared La Carreta takeout (the house soup is so delicious), he surprised me with Brick Oven Bakery pastries on April 4th, and he gave me an Instant Pot. An Instant Pot!! He made this birthday a very special 46th for me. Thank you, honey!

I baked red velvet cupcakes and took them over to my folks, sister and her family. I chose to wear a face mask into Walmart to shop for an Easter ham and noticed a few other people wearing them as well. I didn't freely give my folks, sister, and the kids hugs and kisses which was very sad (social distancing.)

Our company received an encouraging email from the owner about trying to keep busy (organizing, cleaning, etc.), because things WILL pick up, again! Deb's Poetry Book: I am going to be moving forward with the final sketches. These sketches will have to be finalized after work hours, and I'm excited to get going on this with her. I told my boss that we are planning to print at our company (that's the plan so far!)

One day at a time.
One day closer to the COVID-19 Pandemic being over.
There are currently 225 cases of COVID-19 total in North Dakota.

Holy Week is here.
Easter Sunday is coming.
With Easter comes HOPE!
