Learning the Details

North Dakota, the USA, and the World are getting closer to the end of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

COVID-19 Update:  There were 18 new positive cases today, bringing the statewide total to 644.

As mentioned in an earlier blog entry, I've had my share of work struggles. Since Nikhil is the only one who reads this blog, as far as I know, I can put here that I will continue to work on my Attention to Detail which is vital for my occupation as a graphic designer or in any workplace. Attention to Detail is important anywhere, some places more than others (Clinic Quality Manager, Accounting, Veterinary Offices, Architecture, Nuclear Power Plant, etc.)

I've often wondered if I have ADHD. I struggle with anxiousness. Also, learning from trial and error in life is another way to become more detail oriented.

If I want to take an online quiz for ADHAD, there is one on WebMD. I am tempted to take it. For now I will just try to utilize the strengths I do have. What are they? I'll have to think about that. I'll also utilize the tricks I've read about to become more detail-oriented.

Randomness: Back in the 1990's I wanted to be more "alternative" like my high school classmate, Holly. Holly was our most "alternative" classmate. She had a short black bob with perfectly straight bangs, wore black in the summer, listened to The Replacements, and read intellectual novels in the back of the classroom during Social Studies because she was bored. Holly also read a magazine called Details. Wanting to have more attention to detail made me think of that magazine title. The last issue was published in 2015.

I owned this 1991 issue of Details. The magazine header was designed by Hubert Jocham.
