Internal Sunshine

 Mood: Deep and Thoughtful

I'm getting my share of Netflix in by watching "Parks and Recreation." (I have not caved and started watching "The Tiger King" yet.) Also, I'm taking time to read some books I've been wanting to finish. I finished reading Interior Freedom by Fr. Jacques Philippe last night. So much underlining, bookmarking, and reflection on this amazing book! I read it before, and I wish I'd read it more recently. Better late than never!

Part of being Catholic and human is realizing we make mistakes but can renew ourselves with God's help. His love is always there for us if only we will go to Him. So, a very good read. Made for a relaxing evening.

Tomorrow Nikhil and I will continue our fitness journey. We have been getting into running, and it's been surprisingly FUN. I never thought I'd enjoy running. Nikhil makes it FUN, and he always seems so motivated and ready to go!

Wednesday night plans: Tonight I'll finish one sketch for Deb's book. Tomorrow, I will send it to the editor and Deb. I'm excited to see this book go to print, and I'm sure Deb is, too.

Also, I've been realizing that although I do graphic design as an occupation, I really do enjoy and relax more when I'm illustrating and painting. I see graphic design as my occupation. Illustrating and painting are what I put my heart and soul into.

COVID-19 Update: There are 24 new cases. All-time confirmed cases have reached 365.

Erin Oban: "Governor Burgum extended today Executive Order keeping specific businesses - ex. health clubs and gyms, rec facilities, entertainment venues, bars and restaurants (except take-out and off-sale), personal care (hair and nail salons, barbers, tattoo shops, etc.) - closed through at least April 30th."
