I’ve been a graphic designer since 1998 when I received my BFA from University of Minnesota, Moorhead. My heart has always been drawn to painting and illustration. I’ve been privileged to have opportunities to paint theater sets, murals on the sides of buildings, and large-scale backgrounds for famous paintings for Dakota Stage’s Living Masterpieces. I still look for inspiration and enjoy the nostalgia of a book from childhood: “Grandpa’s Ghost Stories.” Cooky, bizarre, spooky, and so much fun! James Flora was also a famous commercial artist and illustrated many children’s books.
